Peeking Forbidden - Titanfall 2 not in EA Access

Peeking Forbidden - Titanfall 2 not in EA Access

While speaking with GameReactor, Respawn Entertainment has stated that Titanfall 2 won't be part of EA Access or Origin Access

The exclusion of Titanfall 2 from EA Access means that Xbox One and PC players won't be offered a pre-launch trial and will receive no discount when buying the game.

The service usually affords players early access (what an unbelievable surprise) to new games, a library of existing games which can be played for free, and discounts on new titles.

It's not been made clear why Titanfall 2 has been excluded from the deal.

The decision could come down to money alone - but it could also come down to the negative feedback received during the game's online test last month. Players were up in arms about several changes made to the mechanics of the first game, including those to movement speed, wall runs, and the titan charge meter. It's possible that Respawn wants to hold back the game for as long as possible to prevent a repeat incident.

Without access to one of Digital Spy's magical seeing stones, which recently went missing, it's impossible for us to know for sure

Titanfall 2 is set for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and those things called 'personal computers' on October 28. Here's a little glimpse at some of the massive metal friends on offer.
