NASCAR HEAT EVOLUTION
NASCAR Heat Evolution is an upcoming racing video game developed by Monster Games and published by Dusenberry Martin Racing. The game is scheduled to be released in North America on September 13, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It is the first NASCAR-focused game since the 2015 release of NASCAR '15 Victory Edition and the first developed by Monster Games since NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona was released in 2002
Gameplay
The game will feature all 23 tracks from the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule, as well as several drivers and cars. NASCAR Heat Evolution will also include a dynamic AI and Speed Rating system that matches the players skill level. Four different modes will be built in the game, including a quick race mode, career mode, Chase for the Sprint Cup mode, and a challenge mode. In the challenge mode, players attempt to match or exceed current NASCAR records
Development
In 2015, Dusenberry Martin Racing, then known as DMi Games, acquired the NASCAR license from Eutechnyx in a deal lasting through 2020. The company's President Ed Martin formerly worked for Papyrus Design Group, Hasbro Interactive, EA Sports and Eutechnyx, who developed the NASCAR Racing, NASCAR Heat, EA Sports NASCAR and NASCAR The Game series, respectively. CEO Tom Dusenberry was the founder and president of Hasbro Interactive.
On May 20, DMR officially announced the game at Charlotte Motor Speedway, partnering with Monster Games, who had developed NASCAR Heat and NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona. Monster President and Evolution lead developer Richard Garcia was a former member of the Heat design team. Drivers Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski, Matt Tifft, and Ben Kennedy were hired by DMR to help develop the game. To determine the cover driver, the highest-placing Toyota driver in the Sprint All-Star Race was selected; the eligible drivers were Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth, and Martin Truex Jr. Edwards won the cover driver competition with a fourth-place finish. The game is the first NASCAR game to be released on eighth generation consoles, with releases for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
Paint Schemes
Every month we’ll be releasing at least one paint scheme pack for players to diversify their game. One of the coolest features in NASCAR Heat Evolution are the track specific paint schemes. For example, if you purchase Darlington Throwback Paint Scheme Pack 1, the AI cars at Darlington will use the Darlington paint schemes. It takes authenticity to a whole new level.
Worth noting, if all of the art assets are not delivered from the race teams and sponsors in time, certain paint schemes packs will be released in two parts. The Darlington schemes and the Chase schemes are both examples of this. We make the paint schemes as soon as we receive them. We didn’t have enough time to create the schemes for drivers who just revealed their Darlington paint schemes like Kyle Larson and Chris Buescher. You can expect a Darlington Throwback Paint Scheme Pack 2 and a Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Paint Scheme Pack 2 at a later date. The following Paint Scheme Packs will be available on launch day:

NASCAR Heat Evolution is excited to announce three different types of DLC; Paint Scheme Packs, Spotter Voices, and Challenge Packs. We’ll be releasing a different mix of paid and free DLC monthly through the end of the year. The first content will be available September 13, 2016. We’ll go into more detail about the Paint Scheme Packs below, but let’s take a closer look at Spotter Audio and Challenge Packs.
Spotter Audio: NASCAR Heat Evolution will ship with Bobby Labonte as the Spotter Audio, but players will have the option to download different spotter voices to make their races unique. We plan to release a variety of Spotter Audio ranging from real life
spotters to drivers, announcers, and more. On launch day, NBC on NASCAR announcer Rick Allen’s Spotter Audio will be available for $0.99.
Challenge Packs: In addition to the 23 Challenges shipping with NASCAR Heat Evolution, new Challenge Packs will be available every month so players can keep pursuing greatness. On September 13, Challenge Pack 1 will be available for $0.99 with 4 new Challenges.
